Vacancies for full-time and on-line volunteering opportunities through EU Aid Volunteers will be published on our vacancy page.
When you find a volunteering vacancy that you are interested in, read the announcement carefully to see if you are eligible and have the competences and skills that are needed.
To apply to be a full-time EU Aid Volunteer:
Download and complete the self-assessment questionnaire (Excel) and Europass CV (Word) that you will find attached to the vacancy announcement. You will need these when you apply.
Click on 'How to Apply' to apply directly with the sending organisation in charge of the project. You will be required to fill in an application form and send it to the sending organisation along with the self-assessment questionnaire, EuroPass CV and a motivation letter.
The sending organisation will arrange the selection process following the timetable set out in the vacancy announcement.
A mandatory two-week training course is part of the selection process. Candidates selected for this training will be required to take part in online preparatory sessions before attending the training.
For online volunteering, you will apply directly to the EU Aid Volunteers organisation managing the vacancy. Follow the links provided in the vacancy notice for details of how to apply. Online volunteers will not follow a training course.
Please note that the European Commission and the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) do not recruit volunteers directly. Therefore you have to send your application to the sending organisation and not to the European Commission or EACEA. Applications sent to the European Commission and EACEA will not be processed!
