GVC is a non-governmental, secular and independent organization founded in Italy in 1971. We work to ensure the respect and recognition of fundamental rights in entire communities deprived of their dignity.

We fight poverty and injustice by working with individuals, communities and social forces, governments and local authorities to ensure thousands of people access to clean water, food, health services, education and work.

We have been active all over the world for over 40 years and are currently present in 22 countries.
