TECHO is a civil society organization present in 19 countries of Latin America that works to overcome poverty in human settlements through the joint action of its inhabitants and young volunteers. With a working model focused on community development, TECHO is looking for, through different programs and projects, a more equal society without poverty, where everyone can develop their capabilities and fully exercise their rights.
The organization bases its work and ideology through 4 pillars:
- Promote community development: Strengthen community capacities that promote the exercise of citizenship, mainly through the improvement of habitat conditions and habitability, and the promotion of economic and social development.
