Finland’s largest NGO in development cooperation and 2nd largest provider of disaster relief, Finn Church Aid (FCA) works to enable people to break the circle of poverty and violence. FCA was established in 1947, with its head office based in Helsinki, Finland. We are a faith-based organisation and a member of the global ACT Alliance.

FCA Cambodia office opened in 2011, after several years working through partners. FCA’s goals in Cambodia are to improve the quality of education and to improve the lives of poor people in rural areas, with a particular focus on food security and livelihood opportunities.

In Cambodia, Finn Church Aid (FCA) works for:

  • the realization of right to quality education in career counselling, school management, and leadership and vocational training
  • youth employment through linking learning to earning and youth empowerment by facilitating youth participation, including through the Changemaker Cambodia network
  • right to develop, secure and sustain livelihoods through entrepreneurship, decent employment and strengthened resilience, especially for women and youth
