Action Against Hunger Senegal is intervening since 2012 to respond the nutritional crisis in the north of the country. Working through field operations, research and technical advocacy in partnership with technical ministries, UN agencies, International and National NGO, the mission of Action Against Hunger in Senegal contributes to reduce nutrition insecurity for the most vulnerable. Thus, AAH supports the national care system in the Management of Acute Malnutrition, develops a multisector-aligned approach in health, food security, livelihood and social behaviour change and seeks improving local and national resilience against shocks and stresses that affect food and nutrition security.
