Early diagnosis of HIV infection enables us to provide early treatment for infected persons and helps to reduce risk behaviours, thus reducing transmission to others. To achieve this aim, we will assess the implementation of CBVCT programmes in Europe in order to gain a thorough understanding of this system, and identify and describe good practices. The general objective of the project is to promote early diagnosis of HIV infection in Europe by improving the implementation and evaluation of community-based testing practices. The specific objectives are: 1)To gain a thorough understanding of CBVCT programmes and services in different countries. 2)To identify and describe good practices in the implementation of CBVCT. 3)To identify a core group of indicators that can be used to monitor and evaluate CBVCT. 4)To establish a network of community-based VCT in which to perform operational research. 5)To assess the acceptability, feasibility and impact of introducing oral rapid test technologies at community-based VCT.

Specific objectives:
1. Preparation
The final messages and production of the web series will be developed, peer reviewed and validated over the project duration by issue experts, a focus group of adolescents and social networks.
2. Roll-out
The roll-out of the web-campaign will include activities aimed at gathering interest for the series through social networks, media and web-based channels etc., as well as the display of the series on the relevant sharing platforms (eg. Youtube, Daily Motion)

The general objective of the project is to broaden the access to HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis (TB) testing, prevention, treatment and care for vulnerable groups, such as intravenous drug users (IDUs) and migrants DUs.
The project`s specific objectives are:
- to develop a framework and model to improve the effectiveness of HIV and TB testing and counselling among IDUs and migrants DUs;
- to increase the percentage of IDUs and migrants having access to HIV and TB testing;
- to ensure that people living with HIV and TB receive treatment for both conditions;
- to promote healthier ways of life and risk reduction among drug users and migrants;
- to assess the effectiveness of street HIV and TB testing in terms of proportion of new infection identified.
The project will use outreach work as a tool for promoting a new kind of provider-initiated counselling and testing, specifically tailored to hard-to-reach groups. In this way, the project will contribute also to reduce the gap between drug users/migrants and health care services and to reduce inequalities in the access to treatment.
