1) Host at least 70 participants (of the 86 to be invited), coming from a minimum of 37 European countries (total of 43 countries)
2) Provide presentations delivered by renowned experts who will give simple, clear and scientifically sound information that conference participants can use effectively in their advocacy efforts of disseminating up-to-date breast health information to women and girls in their countries
3) Provide a forum in which attendees from a broad spectrum of EU member states as well as other European countries learn from one another through the exchange of ideas, experiences and best practices
4) Provide workshop facilitators who have broad and deep knowledge of breast cancer issues and a successful advocacy
5) track record who will mentor conference attendees with the ultimate aim of overcoming inequalities by helping to bring every country to the level of breast health service described in the EU Guidelines and equalizing European womens breast health knowledge
6) Produce and disseminate a conference Proceedings Highlights document of 12 pages that can be used by
- conference attendees, as an aid to pass on information to other advocates and to the public in their countries;
- advocates who are not able to attend the conference but want to be informed and
- anyone in the public who is interested in breast health matters
