The project is expected to contribute to the prevention of obesity and weight problems by stimulating food innovation and reformulation among small and medium-sized food service providers, thereby offering a wider choice of healthy products to citizens and thus ultimately leading to changes in food habits. The project will add nutritional control criteria to the classical HACCP (hazard analysis and critical control points) system. The result is the so-called HANCP (hazard analysis and nutritional control points) system.


The general objective of the project is to develop and improve the training for professionals working in the criminal justice system on the front line with problematic drug users, specifically aiming at the subsequent implementation and sustainability of harm reduction programmes for vulnerable groups to prevent transmission of infectious diseases.

The general objective of the PERISCOPE project is to prevent child obesity between the ages of 3 and 6. PERISCOPE is aimed at combating the increase of child obesity in three European countries: Italy, Denmark and Poland.

The principal objective of this project is to create a European network of public health (environment) physicians to develop capacity in environmental health. The initial role of this network would be to coordinate continuous professional development (CPD) of public health (environment) (PH(E)) physicians across Europe. In particular, the project aims to:
identify training and CPD needs of PH(E) physicians in all EU countries and assess levels of variation in access to training courses between countries;
assess how courses can be coordinated to improve access to training and CPD in different countries;
develop a proposal for a joint programme of training and CPD courses across EU countries that would be coordinated by the network.

