CARE-NMD (3 years; M€1.6; 6513 person/days) aims to optimize the treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD)in participating countries and by that to improve the quality of life for patients.
Specific objectives are:
-> Identify the status of DMD treatment approaches in targeted countries by (online)- questionnaires by month 24, response rate will be the measure.
-> According to the results of questionnaires obtained, training sessions will be organised at national levels with healthcare providers to support compliance of healthcare practices with the recommended and established SoC over the full 36month. Measured by number of participants and number of workshops organised in each targeted country.
-> Popularize the CARE-NMD project, measured by CARE-NMD Website visits and registration rate in national patient registries and care and trial Site registry
-> Increase awareness and knowledge about treatment recommendations, measured by amount of input online discussion forum and amount of national multidisciplinary training workshops.

The general aim of SRAP is to tackle the prevention and reduction of use/abuse of illegal/legal drugs among young Roma.
The specific objectives are:
-To improve and exchange in Europe the knowledge of the behaviours and practices of the young Roma related to drug use and of the determinants affecting this use by performing a research action in all partners countries
-To strengthen the prevention skills of young Roma and to improve the intercultural health approach of healthcare workers
-To sensitise the public health sector and the civil society to the distinct needs of young Roma and promote the inclusion of Roma needs in health and prevention policies and interventions; to promote the inclusion of this issue also in the research agenda and the adoption of evidence-based approaches in the mainstream policy making

It aims to reduce the inequalities that patients across the EU face in access to optimal care through extending knowledge gained in experienced countries to other European states and promoting networks of
medical and patients communities. It aims to raise public awareness of Hb disorders in participating countries and at EU-level and to empower patient groups through knowledge, support resources and networking.
